We have constant & direct access for Loyall life puppy food, which contains no corn, soy, or wheat fillers. This means, in addition to no useless ingredients, there’s less poop, which is always a win! We have found that the food is really expensive OR hard to find, so our 2nd choice would be Diamond Naturals or 4Health – all 3 foods are super similar and lack the same fillers.
Your puppy should be fed 2 times a day, a free amount. It is often a misconception that one amount of food fits all, so until 16-18 weeks, I recommend offering a free AMOUNT twice daily. Leave the food available for 30-45 min and then take it up. More regulated amounts become appropriate when the growth slows.
Eh, not really. Your puppy has had one round of veterinary administered vaccines and needs 4 to be considered fully vaccinated. Your babe is still very much at risk and should be protected. Familiar, safe areas without lots of foot traffic (regardless of species) are recommended until your vaccine series is completed.
Your puppy has, however, been introduced to crating, slept in a crate, and is familiar with the concept

Litter box training is a delightful concept that enlightens your puppy on how to be clean. It starts the process of thinking about potty behaviors rather than just feeling the urge and going. We feel that gentle training is the front-runner in lasting and effective training for our chow chow puppies

We expose each little nose to 50 different smells, and each little puppy foot to a minimum of 7 textures before 7 weeks. We work through at least 30 different intentional sounds in their first 8 weeks, not to mention the organic exposure to other dogs’ sounds, our farm’s 4 goats, various loud trucks that travel our road, tractors, and of course, the orneriest kitties around
